Went out yesterday to try our luck. We got a late morning start but we still managed to bring home 27 crappie most of which were black crappie.

Some....been there twice this year and got dozen crappie and a walleye....nothing to brag about..hope to get there this weekend though.

always wanted to try that water, but never have. looks crappie on the map. lol does it produce a hog(15+)once in a while? what about the catfish? are there flatheads or big channels in there?

I've caught some decent size channel while trolling for eyes before. Not caught any 15 + crappie yet .... not saying there not in there...

I think I will also be heading there this weekend now that I'm feeling better. If I can, I'd like to try my hand at trolling for walleye.
I have caught three thirteens this year and of course the wife caught one fourteen there this year at Prairie Creek.

Last year it produced some hogs the only problem I see with it is I've heard a ton of people keeping way more crappie then there limit which isn't right. I've cought a few nice walleye while crappie fishing but not big enough to keep
