Pro Model tube jigs on Dardanelle

Could not stand Nimrod being so high. Called and asked about Dardanelle and they said it was muddy. Almost stayed home because of poor water reports and the big Green Carp Tournament over there. I went anyway this afternoon and figured I'd just try the big tubes on 1/4 oz heads. Man those Bass guys really had things rocking on the water. Even with all the disturbance I kept a limit and released several more. Caught several trash fish (Drum , catfish and Green Carp ) too!

Looks like a couple I the males are still pretty dark. Any females with eggs still?

I would have enjoyed catching those fish and drinking the cold drink...if'n it was a non-alkyhaul drink.

They looked pretty much spawned out. Some males still dark. They all seemed to have empty stomachs. About half barely took the jig , guess lazy recuperating from stress of spawn.
