I mainly tie with kip and love it. I'd like to try some rabbit soon.

I don't think this is the same stuff as the kip tail. This is body hair, comes on a 2" X 3" or 4" x 4" pad.

They worked again today. Kept enough small males for a meal.

Just about any place that carries tying supplies should have both body and kip tails. They also usually have Deer, Elk and several other kinds of hair/fur. I am sure JS and Bob Marriott's both have many kinds of hair.

the page before this has more different kinds of hair and fur it's crazy. The main page that starts hair and fur is 2 pages back, LOL!

Don't know for sure, but Crazy Angler may also have some of what you want. For sure JS will.

BTW, Not sure how many of you have used the regular Craft Fur, but they have a color in that stuff and it really work great! It's name is Black Frost and I learned about it from a good crappie guide here on Toledo Bend. I tried it probably 8 or 9 years ago and was surprised at how well it did work.

However I look at Kip Tail jigs totally different and since it has less action than feathers or craft fur the crappie really like it a lot before the water warms up a lot. When that water temp is in the low 50's or cooler I am not sure much can regularly beat kip tails.
