Just about any place that carries tying supplies should have both body and kip tails. They also usually have Deer, Elk and several other kinds of hair/fur. I am sure JS and Bob Marriott's both have many kinds of hair.Originally Posted by redear

BTW, Not sure how many of you have used the regular Craft Fur, but they have a color in that stuff and it really work great! It's name is Black Frost and I learned about it from a good crappie guide here on Toledo Bend. I tried it probably 8 or 9 years ago and was surprised at how well it did work.
However I look at Kip Tail jigs totally different and since it has less action than feathers or craft fur the crappie really like it a lot before the water warms up a lot. When that water temp is in the low 50's or cooler I am not sure much can regularly beat kip tails.
