    Default Shelbyville lately for birdy

This is for the last week. Saturday to saturday pretty much. Starting last saturday i was finding water 58-62 after the cold front and on this saturday evening I was finding water 78 degrees by the wolf creek ramp. Like most everyone else I am catching lots of fish out there on the lake. Early last week it was hard to get the unders and now its a lot more unders than overs. I went from seeing nothing but males for keepers to a few females mixed in to now its about half males and half females. Im catching them from 1-4ft for the most part with most of the bigger fish coming from 4-10ft in several different areas. Im targeting mid lake to get away from some of the traffic, or at least try to and im using a simple slip cork and minner rig. Occasionally im tipping a white and chartreuse jig with a minnow or casting a white grub to bank but mostly were fishing the minner rig. I ventured south to point two saturday evening and found fish, but not nearly the numbers im still finding mid lake-north so I will be sticking down there for the week still. Here are some pictures of last week. One day we limited out by 830 so went mushroom hunting and had about 60-70 by 1030ish. That was a neat day! My biggest fish of the week came yesterday evening when we had some flat out dandies. both are 14-15" but I did have one mid week that was a big ol goodun as well.
