Disconnecting everything from old power head
Gasket between power head and mid unit was in bad shape.
Scrapped and resurfaced mid unit.
Removing gasket from new power unit hanging from fork lift.
Reattaching all controls and lines.
No oil injector. Measured 50:1 with convenient 12-ounce containers.
Cover is on. Cross your fingers.
Idles a little fast, but back in business.
Here we come -- after YOUR crappie.
Many thanks to Rees and Speck.
Como steak dinners on us.

Sorry. 5/10/2014 - was a long day.
I donated my body to science.. I needed the freezer space for crappie.
May have some spare parts if anyone is in the market, power trim, starter, carbs, ect! I had quality help today, and if he didn't drink the beer, I would have had no way to measure the oil!!
wtg fellas--surprised ole crappie md didn't figure out away to hook it up for digital controls and some high power programming-- or did he![]()
Not sayin' I did, but I'm also a ham radio operator and these http://www.aprs.org/ are quite useful and may be used to control a trolling motor.
I may have had the opportunity to put one on a certain paramedic's boat last year with my 82 year old dad, but be assured I did not.
Can't speak for my dad, however.
But if you want to stay EXACTLY 51 feet in the wake of another boat and match its speed, send me a PM. Think of it as a digital rope.
