Just your time on any purchase. There are many to select from if you will give it a little time. Buying the wrong boat can last a long time, with many unhappy fishing trips.

All good info so far, especially the bit about compression testing. I will also add that they don't fish the same as they look. Get in the boat and go fishing in your mind. Where will your tackle go, extra rods, livewell, cooler, stored life vests and cushions and fire extinguishers(required). I've been in a couple that looked great and were terrible layouts for my needs. And if you miss on one that you think you might have liked, remember you lost it for a reason and move on. The right one is waiting for you somewhere.

The skeeter with Yamaha is gone... Seller of Lowe had no history on it. Said he bought, made some repairs and now selling for something bigger.
going to take time and watch the forums for someone wanting to move up in size and sell a maintained crappie platform.
thanks for the input. please post more. if you see something not to far away from central TX, might be willing to travel or meet half way to get.
