    Default Flash flood

Well Nimrod is rising fast and trees floating all over the lake. I usually won't fish on a fast rise but thought since it will be messed up awhile I'd try. Went to the Dam area and fished deep before the muddy water gets down this far. Wind was not as bad today and looked like rain. Did keep a descent limit with a few 14'' Crappie. Released about 1/2 that many 10'' and 1/2 dozen under 10''. Caught them all on 1/4 oz heads with 2.5'' pro style tubes. Some looked like they had not even spawned. They are still eating their own kind too.

I caught several last weekend with eggs. They think its April lol. How is Dardanelle? I may sneak over there next week if they are still spawning.

Well. Y'all will someday understand my luck.

I was headed out to Sunlight Bay Monday morning to camp and fish for five days!

Anyone have a good alternative lake to go to?

Don't expect Dardanelle to be any better after the rain we got.
