Hey guys. Took some advice and tried out the Clinton dam. This was my first time ever fishing in Kansas even with having lived in Kansas coty my whole life. Got there about 7 am. It was pretty crowded.
3 white bass good sized
3 keeper crappie - probably got into 15 total all good size
Got most of them just cast and retrieve but a few 12-18 under a bobber
I'll be visiting Clinton lake more. I had a blast even though I'm not taking home many lol

The best thing about grandpa's hand made jigs is they are grandpa's.
Thanks for the report :-)
Hit the dam Saturday with some friends and got the only fish we hit all day. But the wind was brutal. I have a pontoon and with no trolling motor yet we had to try to anchor. Unless we got the anchor to hook something the wind just blew us away. With that big boat I think I would need a V8 block to hold us.

Lol everytime I saw a pontoon I wondered if it was you and your buddies. We tried the dam in the morning then over by marina around noon time and then back to dam shortly after. That's the only place we caught fish as well. Wind was so bad we had to sit way back from water to not get splashed lol
