KD, we a lot alike. We don't win often. Every time I use my camper something breaks. Or tires blow out. 3RD set in 5 years. Hooked up couple days ago. Brakes don't work. After spending hours checking and redoing wiring, turns out bad controller in the truck. Wonder what will break on the trip. Always something. Good luck man, like me you need some!

I may have a motor you can use for a little while this summer until you decide to swap yours.

ac actually works--but for what I have spent plus will spend to fix the blower and coil I'm considering it all junk. The boss said were not spending another dime fixing so new it is. Also the house is very small--only 1056sf and the unit is 4ton--which is a bit much--3ton at most is what i need/want. )
Not to mention the money you'll save running a new ac instead of that 20 year old one.

It'll be a minimum of close to 20-30 percent more effieceint. If you want a sweet unit check out the Lennox XP 25. It's on the higher side but its moisture control, quietness, and efficient is off he charts. They also have a 1300 dollar rebate on them.

So far quotes for 3700 cash (Goodman unit) 5500 to 7500 depending on cash or credit for Trane and got another coming out tomorrow.
I'm thinking window unit for a stop gap until I can figure what we want.
