MGT, I had the same type thing happen a couple of weeks ago. Never been on anything other than allergy medicine all my life and got up on Tuesday and just didn't feel right. Got to work and everybody that looked at me said I was real red and looked bad. Felt bad too. Thought my brain was going to crack out of my skull and it felt like I had 1000 lbs sitting on my neck and shoulders. Checked my BP and it was up around 170/100. Headed straight for the Dr. Didn't feel dizzy or anything so I drove myself. By the time I got there the bottom # had bumped up to 110 so they put me on meds right away. They also gave me a list of foods not to eat. After getting my levels checked 10 days later they added cholesterol meds and another list of things I can't eat. After she read off everything I couldn't eat, I told her about the first list and asked her, "Between those two lists, WHAT'S LEFT???"

It's best that you do a complete study on the meds prescribed to you and their side effects,,, Drs. today know what work, but they don't know which meds work best with which meds nor their side effects,...Did you know in Europe, the Drs don't prescribe meds,, It's the job of Pharmacists,,,, I believe our country could learn something from that,,,

X2, when dad was alive his Dr. Had him on stuff that was countering each other. Drs can get prescription happy, know what you're puttin in your body.

Dont know if 2 days of BP meds should be haveing any effect, but i feel great today, MsGoodtime has been takeing my BP( she's a RN with her bachelors BSN ) and today it is 128/82, hope this is a good sign, gona have a coupla test tomorrow...starting to think i'm gona live a while longer.
