Jackie- I would come down 65 to 40. Take 40 all the way to Mayflower. Drive over I-40 on Highway 89 south. Go about a mile and you will pass Bates Field and Stream Gas Station / Bait Shop. Your next right will be Highway Landing. Construction has been getting better. You shouldn't run into any problems. Thanks!

I will throw in 50 fillets, but i probably wont be able to stick around for the fish fry. I just want to give a big thanks to Matt Schroeder, Matt Horton, Tom, and all of the G and F folks that work behind the scenes to ensure that Conway continues to be one of the best Crappie lakes in the state. I have spent a lot of time with Matt (D10,) on the water and off. I can tell you that nobody cares more about the lake, and nobody works harder to protect it than he does. Also, Dennis thank you for going the extra mile to try and get people involved. I know for a fact that there are a LOT of folks that keep a close eye on this site, hoping that someone will post info about Conway that will help them unlock the secrets to catching some of those big ole slabs! I know this because i run into you on the lake all the time. You dont post because you feel like you dont have anything to contribute. Well, this is your chance to give back to the lake, and maybe get to know some of the guys that know and love Lake Conway. I would love to see you guys out there, and if we can get 10 or more guys with 100 posts or less to commit to this, I will add to the drawing a free trip on Lake conway for one of the newbies. Come on guys, its only a few hours.

I will provide drum limners to anyone that wants to come out on Saturday and help pick up this small stuff. The easiest ways to pick up this material is from a boat or by walking the banks. I recommend hip boots or waders for walking the banks. I also recommend work gloves. Bags of debris can be dropped off at the debris pile near the dam access. Please let me know if you are going to volunteer so that I can get a feel for how much help we will have. Thanks!

Randy Zellers in our Communications Division asked if he could include the clean up info in the fishing report. I told him yes (of course). It is the fishing highlight of the week. Thanks Randy!

Thanks Chris! Great offer! If Chris can teach me to fish Conway, he can teach anyone.

How long are y'all going to clean up for? Unfortunately I have something early in the morning but if yall are gonna be out there all day I will come. Maybe we could have a "mentoring" session while cleaning up!!

I am not sure. I can only be there for a little while in the morning. I know that Chris (Cmj) will be coming late in the day. Basically it is just come when you can. Thanks.

I would love to help out and have the perfect boat for it but I am working Saturday, and in the sales position I am in Saturdays can be some of the busiest. If it where on Sunday or Monday would be more than happy to help.
