Can anyone shed some light on why in some spots at coon the water was a reddish tent? spring turnover?

Might be from what the river has in it. farmers are spreading a lot of chemicals, fertilizer, even liquid hog manure and turkey crap on fields and plowing like crazy around me and I am sure some might be up there.
I have seen that red tint in the backwaters that dump into East Fork of the White River, caused by the above reasons, totally deplete the oxygen out of the water and move the fish back into the river before. Consider that when fishing in it if your not catching anything.
Not turnover. I was out there Sunday and from what I saw, it had all the characteristics of a diatom bloom to me. I'm seeing it in some other waters around the area, so it's not just Raccoon.
