Nice report. Good looking perch. Always fun to change plans and catch fish.

Spent Saturday at NW looking for crappie in the backs of creeks spider rigging. Found the nicer crappie about midway back with more bites but smaller fish as I moved back to the main river. After reaching the main river I realized the bite for the day wasn't going to be the crappie but low and behold the white perch were all over the main river banks. Water temps were 65 and the fish could be found from the stumps to 15-20 out off the banks. When first moving out I had minnows under bobbers but got tired of putting minnows on so I switched to the white red dot bettle spin and caught just as many. Alot of 9-101/2" fish with quit a few 11 and 12's also mixed in. The males were definitely milking. Great day considering this was all unexpected to go after them. Go get them while the gettings good. The water was way up to.
