    Had a pretty good day on carlyle. Had 10 keepers and lost several at the boat, all caught on minners in 3-5 fow holding about 18 inches deep. Had to leave early to pick up my daughter otherwise I could've had my limit.

    I have never tried for crappie at Carlyle. We always drift for catfish in the summer and fall....usually do pretty good too. Nice catch!

    Most likely the he caught those on the other end of the lake, not many stumps there. This might be my second year in a row not fishing Carlyle Lake for crappie. Put out alot of cover just over a year ago and yet to fish it.
