Thread: Barkley 4-30-14

A friend and me decided to give Barkley a try today. Before today in two previous attempts on Barkley I had managed a grand total of 2 keepers, but today was a different story. Neither one of us had ever been to this area before and we started off slow but found good numbers in 15-20fow. Wound up with 40 around 5 o'clock. Quite a few female whites still look to be prespawn to me but also had a healthy mix of post spawn blacks. Didn't have my camera with me, my buddy is supposed to be e-mailing me some pictures I can post later.

Bronson we used jigs tipped with crappie nibbles. Here is a picture.
