Well, Bug "Nathan" my grandson did not let us down. He caught the first and the biggest and the most in our boat. He did lose his lunch money to Stevie in Ofishlbizzness:s boat for the largest. We had a good time listening to Bug ragging his dad and me about how to fish. I guess you could say we got learned last night. We had a total of 14 nice crappies and 2 white perch with a few that John didn't want. We threw 10 or more small crappie back also. Now the perch bite was on for both of the boats they just wouldn't leave us alone. We threw all back except the 2 and that being at least 50 or more. We had bait just under the lights and that's where we caught all the perch. If you brought you line up to check your bait you would most likely catch a perch. It was nice to meet Slabsuttle and his crew. I believe the lady's out fished him so I'll let him tell his side of the story. I think John will post some pictures of Stevie and Bug with their catch. Thanks John for a fun night, good idea you had!

Dawgg , We had a great time. Good to see you and your crew again. Slabsuttle was nice to meet you guys also. Thanks for coming way over here to join us. The bite wasnt great for us unless you was perch jerkin. And we did plenty of that. We only caught 8 crappie on my boat. But Stevie did put a big girl aboard. Couldnt find my handy dandy de-liar scale in the dark but just guessin she was real close to 2 lb if not a little over. We was havin a good time though.Not sure how many Slabsuttle had. He can add his info.I did hear though that the ladies caught most of the fish on that boat. Just sayin. We was anchored in 28 fow. Temp was 64 and little stain in the water. Minners fished anywhere from the bottom up to 2 foot.The perch were not taking prisoners for sure. Anything hit the water was fair game. Maybe next time we can find some crappie willing to attack like that. Was a great night. Met some CDC members for the first time and some old timers. Gonna do it again soon so ya'll get your night pass from the boss and come on out. Heck bring the boss. Slabsuttle did and they caught fish.Hey "Bug" , Stevie asked about that lunch money thing. We just had one crappie one cat and a bunch of white perch and my wife might of out fish me but I thought her how to do so I should get some credit lol

You do get credit but not with this bunch. I do like your set up on your boat with the inverter being small and out of the way. I bought a light bulb at Lowe's today and will try it out. Where did you get the inverter? Glad you came over and hope we can do it again. You know I am off every Wednesday we can do a Tuesday night any week.
