Default Chickamauga Tailwaters "Giant Blue Catfish" 4-26-2014

I mentioned in my last fishing report about trying something different. I did. Went on a fishing trip with rsimms of Scenic City Charters. You all know that he is the Godfather of Catfish. He showed out yesterday...so did I. I needed a TARP of a different species to make my goal of 10 TARP's of different species. That makes me a TWRA Master Angler III. Got it!

Caught a 75 lb., 52" Blue Catfish. I only needed one to be 34". Beat that by 18". It was as big as a Volkswagen!!

Thank you for the trip of a lifetime Richard.

Very nice! Congrats on the MA Level III! I'm going for the same thing myself. Does anyone know what is included in the "Tackle Package" from BPS? I've seen it mentioned a number of times and have never heard what exactly it really is. Maybe it changes periodically, so they don't publish a list? I've never even seen a post or article from anyone who has achieved it.
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.

I knew you would get it, you sounded very determined to get it and you did. Congrats.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
