8-12 ft. on brush,caught every fish in photo plus 20 or so shorts in about 3 hrs on the same spot....left them biting......southern pro hot grubs in Weiss lake killer color,casting and letting fall before SLOW retrieve

I caught two shorts while shooting docks..I think prime dock shooting is still a couple of weeks out....these fish here were in recovery mode I think....they bit very light just like it was cold weather

yes sir ...that light bite was very uncharacteristic for this time of year for sure......there were a few times i just had to stop the jig....very strange.....i didnt feel a good "thump" the whole day
