Just finished all the paper work needed to be able to fish it. The plan for Carol and I is to be blind dragging or jigging cypress in the vicinity of upper blue basin or lower red basin. To give the other fishermen a chance (and also because we only have a 3 day license), we will not be pre-fishing. We have employed the latest in satellite technology (google earth) and numerous other manual and electronic scouting aids to help put us on fish. We have a goal, and that is to have a bigger weight than Capps and Coleman. We figure that this should be a reasonable, first time to be on Reelfoot, goal. Here is a small sample of our electronic scouting. Plenty of fish catching way points available.
A few weeks ago, I did run into Mike Valentine at Basspro and he seemed like a really nice fellow. He and Suzette have been kind to us during this process and we are thankful to them for this.

Good luck. When is it?

Good Luck! We're fishing our first Crappie Masters tournament next weekend at Ky Lake. Hoping for at least a respectable finish. My definition of "respectable"is NOT last!!
