    Smile Saturday - wonderful Spring day for fishing.


    Wife and I went out, Devils Fork area. Wonderful day on water. Seemed the green carp fisherman had a tourney, so lots of traffic at boat ramp. Kept a few, mixed cooler of fish, cast iron skillet will never know the difference. White Roadrunner, yellow cury jig cut in half seemed to work. Couldn't find crappie though. Talked to several other boats that limited out last week in same area, but only put a few in boat as well. So cold spell must moved them somewhere else. Was mostly targeting 2-10' FoW.

    Yeah, wish I could catch them on more consistent numbers, they do eat very well. But that pretty much applies to anytime I go fishing.
