I replaced my 1997 Alumacraft Crappie Jon with a Alumacraft 2014 Crappie Jon.
Notice the lock hanging from the left side of my trolling motor. This is for the quick disconnect plate so that I can keep my trolling motor in the garage.
I moved the front seat forward 10" as I could not reach my fishfinder.
Got a piece of starboard at Norva Plastics in Norfolk.

"fish on!!!"
(What a great day for fishing) lol.
It's actually a type plastic so it will never rot. I had my last boat for 17 years and went through quite a few transducers from the various fish finders I had on it. Of course the mounting holes never lined up so I had to drill new holes. I probably had 8-9 holes in my transom when all was said and done. With the set up I now have, only two holes will ever be drilled into my transom, all future holes will be drilled into the seaboard. Plus, if my transducer is not quite where I want it, I simple drill into the seaboard and not my transom.
