    Default D'arbonne 4/19

Well went back today armed with crickets. Caught one nice perch on a blk/char jig on a tree bout 7'. Kept 25 of the bigger bream and one catfish. Sure was wanting to get on the perch one more time, but looks like I may have missed out. Good day on the water.

I fished just above forks ferry. Caught about 30 crappie but many were small. Brought 18 home. All but one females. All post spawn.

That's the spirit, just keep on fishing. Eventually they'll be on the dinner table.

We were fishing around Dozier creek. We probably caught 40 all together. Are y'all catching the crappie out deeper now or are they still up shallow? I tried out to about 12' with no luck.

Ours were in the shadows of the tree as close to the roots as you could get. Overhangs that others dont get under are better, But we didnt load the boat like Bird

Nice catch fellas. I'm headed up there at the end of May for about a week. Renting a cabin up there with my family. What's a good map that has the names on it, so I can plan my trip out.

I looked online and couldn't find anything but I've got a pretty good map that came from Toledo Tackle in Monroe. I only paid $8 for it, they have a website but the map is not on the site. Here's their number if you want to give them a call (318) 396-3600.
