    Default Geezer club

This post doesn't have anything to do with crappie fishing, but I need an answer from my IL. Crappie brethren. The older pipefitters/plumbers @ work are saying that since I had a birthday this month and am now over 50, I am now officially a member of their old geezer club! I don't feel like an old geezer, however I do gripe and complain quite a bit, get rather cross towards the end of the work day, have word or term retrieval issues and have acquired a copious amount of grey hair. So what do you all think? I was going to post an updated review on bonehead braid and the Dobyns rods IM using, but thought this might be more rewarding! Lol Thanks, E.

Not when we are in our prime! Champaign has been blessed with an awful lot of work in the last 20+ years, so we typically don't have much to complain about.

Best part of joining Geezer club is you dont have any wheres near as long a wait till retirement the youngsters are just jealous. Won't be much longer and you will look around and think boy I'm the oldest guy in the crew. But with that usually comes also being the smartest guy in the crew. With age comes experience and knowledge not sure the youngsters will ever have knowledge I know they don't have our work ethic.

That's right! See you all are giving me positive points. When I turn 62, I am going to retire to fish the rest of my life, God Willing. Thats the plan.

Hey Eric, I'm a 51 year old ex pipefitter and to tell you the truth the only time I complained was when the company hired dumb butts and expected me to teach them and then they (the company) complained about why things are taking so long or when they (the company) waited until half hour before quiting time on Friday to tell they need to have a shut down before we can go home. As far as being a geezer, I think that is a honor to be concidered one but I don't have much gray hair yet, all in good tme.
Lets go soak a line. Pat

Pat I like the way you are thinking. Anybody tells me they "have" to have something done an hour before quitting time best have checked their wallet prior to, because it's bout to get real expensive!!!! Clfarms that is what I've been thinking all along. The specific problem I have @ work is that with the state jacking everybody pensions around, we don't have anyone in their 60's in the pipetrade shops anymore!

I'm 66 and don't have any grey hair(or any hair at all). The best part about getting old is you can hide your own easter eggs. The worst part is I can't seem to find my crappie "Hot" spots this year.
