    any 3/4 pin pedestal post will fit in the 3/4 screw in base....they just don't have the extra length where the threads are.

    I pull my seat off the pedestal, put the pedestal in one of my rod storage holders( the white plastic kind that hold the rods straight up) and sit the seat in the pedestal hole in the front deck. I can see OK like that, but it is in the way if I leave it on the pedestal.

    Okay, thank you. I guess I will have to rig-up what I think will work, we'll see. I tend to over-engineer everything for some reason. Thanks for the input.

    Randy I am still looking for that one I told ya about that Bill Dance endorses... the seat, pedestal and all cantilever and fold flat to the deck

    I have tracker and just pull seat and lay against console in font of me while underway, then put back in when I start fishing
