Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.

Channel 8 news said the lake should be ready for use this fall. I guess that means for boat riding.

Just a little north of Jonesboro, at a town called Bono. If you take 63 out of Jonesboro, Bono is 5 miles to the north. The Lake is east of Bono on Crowley's ridge. Its main purpose is as a water impoundment to ease flooding issues in the lowlands.

The only fish that should be ready to be caught by this fall will be channel catfish. The rest of the fish stocked will be fingerlings.

I wonder how many folks will actually be out there trying to catch fish that aren't there?!?!?

If I was a betting man, I'd wager that we hear stories of three pound crappie caught out of there this fall!
