Default Jordan Lake 4/12 Tourny Results

Wow ! What a Beautiful Day the Lord Gave us yesterday! Sunshine, light wind and the fish were biting! My partner and I caught over 100 fish. Our Biggest was a Pound and half. We lost a bunch of fish also right at the boat. but that's fishing. Yesterday we had 14 Boats in the Tourny. We also had the record Big Fish ever weighed in in this series. Michael Powell and his father Mike weighed in the Big Fish of 2.74 lbs a real Beauty! The First Place Team of Eddie Moody and Cecil so called Uncle Si had the 1st Place catch with 7 fish weighing 9.690 lbs and a Big Fish of 1.49 lbs and 2nd Place was Aaron Eubanks and Bob Arnao with 7 fish weighing 9.055 and a Big Fish of 1.520 lbs 3rd Place went to Danny Chainsaw McDaniel with 7 Fish weighing 8.90 lbs and a Big Fish of 1.660 lbs and many nice fish were weighed in. Everybody had 7 fish. Well its been a tough year with all the weather changes water level changes and now we are down to the last tourney. We always conclude the year on Easter Weekend. We voted yesterday to see if we wanted to Go Falls Lake that is planned on the schedule or come Back to Jordan Lake. Only two people voted for Falls . Me being one of them. everybody else voted for Jordan Lake . So the last tourney of the year on Easter Weekend will be held next Saturday April 19 at Jordan Lake. Come on out to Jordan Lake for this last Event of the year cause we will be giving away some great prizes at the weigh in. We will be at Farrington Boat Ramp taking Entries from 5:30 AM till 6:30 am

Wow. The tale of two lakes. We fished Jordan down around s curves. Windy and only one crappie. A beautiful black crappie, but short. I guess we are going to have to make the drive to Farrington. My fifteen year old is getting a bit sour on the bite. Me, too.

Rod--I have a picture of the big fish if you can't get yours to post. It was one nice fish.

It was very encouraging to see all the large fish brought to the scales on Saturday. I would suggest that if you are hesitant to fish the tournament, at least come to the weigh-in. There were some very good fishermen in the tournament on Saturday and just talking to them is a good way to learn.

this was the best day of crappie fishing I have ever had!!! I long lined all day and don't know how many fish I caught but I know that my thumb was sore at the end of the day. I have to buy me one of those clickers. Takes me about 1 hour and 40 minutes to get to Jordan but it is worth the ride for the quality of fish. Wish my day would have ended better though. I had a spring break on my trailer on the way home and barely made it home. New springs and ready to go!!! Cant wait to get back this Saturday!!! Meeting some really nice guys out there as well. See yall Saturday!!!
