    Default Chickamauga Lake... 4-8-14


    Debbie and I fished some flooded timber on the "Chick" Tuesday from 12:15 - 3:30. Water temperature 61-63 degrees - windy. BG Outlaw Special Scent Wigglr's... Electric Chicken...Cajun Cricket...Gumdrop Slab Slayers caught fish in 3-12 feet. The bite was good until 1:30 then pretty much shutdown. We were looking for large crappie ( who isn't ) but mostly ran into some males. A very good ratio though of 17 keepers out of 19 crappie caught. All were released. The early bird catches the worm and I guess we were a little too late today. A couple of crappie wearing their tuxedos to the party and it looks like one about danced his tail off.
