Size: 46.7 KBI believe it's a cross between a white and a black. Lol, just kidding. This thing gave my 12' Southern Crappie rod all it wanted, but a true testament to the rod, it prevailed. If your looking for a good rod to spider rig with, I highly recommend them. This fish was caught on Barren today. Crappie bite was slow and finicky again. It took me a while, but I finally caught 30 today. Assorted whites and blacks 5-8' deep. I tipped Big Head Jigs with minnows and caught a few on horse head spinners.

I'll vouch for the Southern Crappie Rods. Tough as nails.

    Nice hybrid.

I can vouch for the Brad, he was screaming like a high school girl on a roller coaster . After we left you and went to the back of that bay, I got hung and broke an old rod. Can't tell ya what brand but I've had it since I've started spider rigging. We wound up with 31 keepers.

I can vouch for BnM's 10' Sam Heaton being a pretty good rod, too :

My fishing partner caught a 10lb Striper down at Watts Bar, the first time he used the rod

Nice Hybrid, Brad !! And thanks for the report on Barren.

    I don't think that 's a Crappie. Looks more like a Shark.

Might not be a crappie but they are loads of fun to catch.
