    Default late 4/4/14 oconee report

fished Richland, Double, Sandy creeks....pitched minnows to isolated brush piles...ended the day with just 13, but all were excellent size.....tried rigging a few poles with jigs and long lining, never worked for us.....fish seemed extremely scattered, 1 fish or 1 bite, never found them stacked up like I would expect for spawning fish ...the ones we did catch were about to bust with the eggs they had in them....

we are in the process of rigging the boat for spider-rigging, gonna take us a week or 2 to get poles and rod holders built and mounted, really looking forward to learning a new way to fish for these slabs...

water temps started at about 58, but was up to 63 @ 4pm....

still a fun day spent with a friend on the lake
