Started out at 2.pm North Saulty counted 30 Bass boats looked liked a invasion, couldn't fish to much traffic.Moved to the Mud Creek north of Stevenson found some crappie then the current changed to moving back in and the bite stopped. Moved back to Goose Pond total mad house must have been 50+ Bass boats trying to load up.
Anyone wanting to fish this area be ready for constant aggravation and waves and good luck you will need it.The catfish are hitting great on minnows with some decent crappie ,with some small ones thrown back for next year.

Yep, bass tournaments are ruining fishing, specifically ramp access, for the regular Joe. I despise 'em.

Yeah, I'm not fortunate enough to have time off during the week to fish instead of the weekend, so I have to deal with the nascar on the water boys too. I like to fish, period. Bass, crappie, bream, catfish, you name it. Straight up bass fishing just seems so high strung these days. Impatience at the ramps launching and loading. Impatience getting to the places to fish. The ungodly amount of money spent on the boats and good lord the prices of rods and reels these days. I have some decent spinning tackle for all purpose fishing, but one of my favorite rod and reels is still the Ambassadeur Royal Express reel and Bionic Blade combo my parents got me back in 1994 for high school graduation.

Anyone who loves to crappie fishing should keep all legal Bass ,I used to throw all Bass back not anymore except the short ones. Bass eat a lot of crappie so you will be helping the crappie population.

Went to Mud and several other places Friday and it is just as bad or worse at Mud Creek than anywhere else. Ramp totally full, nowhere to park, people everywhere, running into stumps and slamming into everything because they blindly run through the place like it's a river channel. Watched one guy get stuck on a giant stump and try and start his engine and run over it. That didn't go so well, but it was the best entertainment of the day. Finally found a few in Roseberry, but it was a madhouse there as well.
