    CM did hit it just right. The weather changed everything after that. Lots of fresh water and mud!!!

    Crappiemasters folks fish more than one month out of the year. That may have something to do with their success.

    What yikes said, plus unlike those of us who come a distance to fish, we don't know the lake nearly well enough to have great success when its not just perfect conditions. Still.....no place I'd rather be this time of year when I can get there. Good-bad-indifferent....it's always fun to be around the guys on the lake, even if you don't know them personally. It's the love of fishing that matters to an ole fart like me.

    Being from out of state, its a little harder for me to fish Grenada more. Im crappie fishing all year except during duck season. Im not a spawn only fisherman. We had a great fall trip in October at Grenada.
