That'd be a good loading screen for your console electronics!

I don't turn on my electronics until I'm moving away from the ramp to fish. Good idea for those that do.

    Brian,

I don't even want to know why that came to your mind.

You have to admit, it is better than DP? As in drain plug, or double...

I have never had the plug issue yet. I did drive 60 miles one time
to figure out I left the boat key at home. I also had an experience
were I was driving about 4 am through a very heavy rain and thought
my truck was loosing power. I pulled in to gas station and found my
stuff floating in the boat. 18' flat bottom with 10" of water. I had the
plug in. It was heavy and the truck didn't like it. lol

My all time best was when I backed my son age 14 into the water in December with a cross wind. As he drifted down the bank the motor decided not to start. Lucky there was a dock to drift into about 50 yards away.
God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.

Jeff, I launched on an Oxbow lake in AR one time, the hook unhooked itself, the wind was straight away from the ramp, I watched as the high sided tin boat made it's way across the lake. Finally waved down a passing boat, he took me to my beached boat in the timber on the other side. Nice fella.

Some good stories can be shared about "When I did stupid".
