    Terry, you are still a young'n at heart. Fished below 52 a few times and that is one weird place. Kind of like being in the 1800's I would imagine! Those lock people have one very dangerous job. I haven't ever seen anything like that when they set those wickets! Crazy dangerous!!!

    It's been a while since I fished that area but the ramp at the back of the bay can be difficult to launch and trailer a boat. The best cove in that area is the next cove to the south (molly). A lot of stumps and brush and if I remember right there are some rock banks. If you have no luck there it's time to cross the lake but don't get caught if it's going to storm or get windy. Good luck.

    Had a good time. Pretty cold, fishing was slow until I left when it rained so hard because tent leaked bad. Once I left they started catch more fish, just like I figured.
