    Default Sardis was a mudfest

When I got to Sardis this afternoon I realized:

A - the weatherman doesn't know what a 5 MPH wind looks like

B - all the mud in the USA is pouring into the lake

Anyone have luck today at Sardis? We worked our butts off trying to get on some fish…never found them. 4 fish in 5 hours of trolling (and one was a hybrid striper). Tried shallow, tried shallower, tried trolling timber, tried tight-lining some stumps…it sucked.

I spoke with 4 different folks who fishes Sardis other than Bigblue and they all limited out. They were all trolling.

I ran into a young man who jigged up 20 nice ones with a partner. They were still in the live well and looked nice. He says they were fishing 2-9 fow around Hurricane Creek. Black jigs was all he used.

Interesting reports! We put in around 2 pm and fished til dark...maybe we were in the wrong depth. I talked with several folks at the Tekville ramp who all had the same luck as me.

For those who took limits trolling...how deep were y'all fishing? Im still tryimg to figure this trolling thing out. My best catch so far is 8 fish with 2 guys fishing half a day. Its entertaining but hasnt been terribly productive.

You may want to try getting started earlier in the day.
