Where did I say I was in favor of no limits. I ask a simple question and get smart remarks back. As you say, we must be good stewards of our environment. People that know me know I do not abuse this earth, including speckled perch. I rarely get to fish and keep very few when I do fish. And that includes all fish. That being said I don't need a bunch of laws telling me what I can and cannot do. I don't like to measure every fish and have to worry about was that one long enough or maybe a quarter of an inch short. If he is big enough throw it in the cooler, if not throw it back.

Lake Talquin is a great resource and it is our job to keep it that way. Due to the added fishing pressure we are trying to decide what is best for this body of water. We mean no harm to anyone, but are trying to get definitive research to see what everyone's opinion is. You have given yours in favor of no limit at all and it is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to explain your reasoning!
