    300s mostly. Orange Crush,Sour Apple, Black BubbleGum and the silver one, don't recall the name. Orange Crush and sour apple go out first. On certain days it don't matter.

    I pull 100,200 and 300 as well as some Strike King, Rebel, Wiggle Wart, etc. I custom paint a lot of mine but Mad Cow, Black Bubblegum, Old Light, or other very dark colors work well on KY Lake. Pink and purple are my go to colors.

    The best way to figure out what colors, is to take a bass fisherman to the store and let them pick out several colors. Then pick through the ones they didnt like.....funny but it works.....lol

    Has alot to do with water color, depth, sunny or cloudy. My experience has been sunny clearer water use light or more natural color baits, in cloudy or off color water use darker baits. Don't always work but a good place to start. Bandit offers alot of color combinations to choose from. Mad cow,mistake,awsome pink, black bubblegum,sardis gold and red splatterback should be enough to get you hooked. I prefer the 300 series over the 200's. Some good info on the Mississippi board. Open up the wallett and start spending!!

    I have never trolled a Bandit - but have caught numerous crappies on Berkley Flicker Shads (4's 5's and 6's), Salmo Hornets (4's and 5's) small Wally Divers, Shad Raps (5's) and Thunderstick Jr.s

    A few rules of thumb I try to follow are:
    Sunny = Metallic
    Overcast = Painted bellies
    Dirty water = Oranges, Pinks, Chartreuse
    Stained = Lime Green, Blue
    Clear = Natural
    Anytime = Black, Dark Blue and Dark Purple

    When we won the Crappie Masters - we were using Off Shore Planer Boards to get the baits as far as we could from the boat and pulling Salmo Hornets in Chrome Blue and Flicker Shads in yellow crusher and blue crusher (Scheels colors - chrome bellies) when it was sunny. When it was overcast - Flicker shads in Chartreuse Pearl, Purple Tiger (Standard colors) and Purple Chartreuse Pearl (Mills Fleet Farm color) and Hornets in GFP (holographic with char back and orange belly)

    When all else fails - pick the following four and see which ones the fish like: Ugliest, prettiest, coolest and blandest! (May sound funny - but it works!)
    Take a senior or a kid fishing soon!

    I believe most pull at 1.5 to 1.8mph on average.

    When we fished LOZ a couple weeks ago, our best speeds when we pulled flicker shads with the Off Shores was .9-1.1. Best thing to do when your trolling is to just experiment. Once you find fish vary speeds and colors until they hit. The key is being able to repeat what works.
