Turns out I filleted out the Big Fish

Either of the two fish I caught would have won the Big Fish money. The winner was 1.3" and mine would have been close to 3. The reason I didn't weigh is because my trolling motor batteries died after less than 2 hours fishing and I loaded the boat and took it to the Interstate store in Ridgeland to get them checked out. Not much help so I took it home and unhooked the boat and filleted the fish, figured there would be other big fish caught. Couldn't believe it when I saw what was being weighed. That's the second time I have messed up at a tournament weigh-in. Oh well, they tasted good last night.

John, when I got back to Ridgeland, I ran into my boat mech at a red light. Called him up and he's going to take care of it. What a coincidence.

If that's the same boat mechanic I used, hope you have better luck than I did. $900 and 2 trips to me house n it's still not right. I called him over 2 weeks ago to come look at it again and he hasn't shown up yet. Needless to say Im pissed. It's nice he does the work at your home and he's a very nice person but I spent a lot of money to get my boat fixed n it's still not right
