Didi decided to join me today after I promised her she would be able to get some good bird pics.....soon as she works them over in photoshop I will post some pics.....started early before the wind shifted and increased....had 6 sacs in the first 45 min....on shiners ...18" in 3 fow......wind made it tough after that but managed 13 sacs and two nice bass.....big bass weighed 3.27 but it sure looked bigger than that....sure was fun on that jig pole.....smaller bass was 16".....lost the biggest sac trying to flip it in the boat.....quit at 2 PM......

It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.

P.S.,
Man...I must have just missed you at the landing!!! I got there about 1 o'clock. I caught all my fish south of the interstate...but that's the only place I fished. The bite was best, for me, the first couple of hours I fished...then it slowed, or I moved out of the fish...never know!
Were you fishing north? If so, how far north did you go? I'm thinking Fordoche area for the weekend! What you think?
Pretty catch!
Nice catch and pics !
Mr. Bruce, I can't see the bottom of your sink!!!! great catch![]()

There are no words.....
Nice catch Bruce. Shiners shallow under a cork sure is fun. Looks like Didi sure was cold. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Randy.....actually, she was very warm thanks to good gear.....the bite has gone from slight nibbling to very aggressive....nothing like watching that cork go under like your shiner was hit by a fast moving freight train....gives me goose bumps to just think about it.....
