OK, story goes like this. A guy I go to church with sent me this pic, supposedly this monster was caught at Sardis a few weeks ago but the background would indicate late spring or summer. Also there could be a lil photoshopping going here? What do ya'll think
lol, no comment.

No way those leaves were on those trees a few weeks ago. If the guy forwarded the original photo, you might be able to determine when it was actually taken.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

A - No way it was taken a few weeks ago, the foliage isn't right. B - No way the size isn't right either. At the angle his arm is bent (keeping the fish close to his body) I'd guess that fish would have to be well over 20 inches long to stretch from his armpit to almost his knee...maybe almost 30 inches C - Add to the list that the guy is standing in the shade but the fish looks like it had it's picture taken in different lighting conditions. D - Then really zoom in and look at the edges of the fish...you'll see some irregularities. A good photoshop job...but not a great one.
I know the guys cousin by marriage to my ex brother in-laws sister and he wouldn't lie. That is a 7 lber caught on Sourdux lake, Florida. When people hear the lake name, they get confused cause it sounds so much like Sardis. He caught it on a jig, but set the minner buckets in the back ground to throw people off.
