So I told him I would check with hummingbird before I bought it because I wanted to switch tranducers anyway and would check on the adapter cable with hummingbird ...well after 15 minute wait on the phone they have no adapter cable or transducer can't get the cable until 4-4 and the transducer until 4-11........

You would think if HB knew the new xx9's were going to need the AS EC QDE...they would have plenty if them on hand...

Unfortunately, you are trying to buy while Humminbird is in a transitional period and are maxed out on new orders. The first quarter is always tough for boating electronics as everyone is getting rigged for spring and many are spending tax returns. Be patient 2 weeks not the end of the world. I waited 3 weeks on my unit. You are buying a brand new model! Have you ever tried to buy a new model boat or car the first couple of months they are released? You are talking about a company that has always done everything in its power to keep me going as fast as possible. They have sent me parts with labels to return the old ones. Try and get other companies to do warranty claims as they do. Business's sometimes get bombarded it's the nature of our economy humminbird is trying to market SI/DI units in a very fair price range to customers and have been bombarded with orders. While they are still working on the best technology for the future of the fishing world and military usages. Just trying to put all the facts out there instead of bashing a great company over waiting a couple weeks. I waited over 6 weeks on one of the original SI units and about the same for the original Ipilot. Both are products that have revolutionized my fishing experience. Just be patient and courteous to the CSRs at Humminbird they will do what is in the power to help you in a reasonable amount of time. They have for me for over 25 years.

Call down Sweetheart! No one is out to get you. I tried to suggest you handle it another route and give them a chance to please you. Unfortunately, your comments come across as if humminbird did you wrong and others should not do business with them. I simply disagreed and stated my great experience with them as they deserve it. Good luck in the future with your units. I will not look at this thread again as it seems you want to get upset. I am on this site simply to help others. If you need further help contact me through PM.
