    Default Talquin Sunday

Sunday started out to be one of those days people dream about. I went straight to my favorite sugarhole. Had fish on the hummingbird before i even cut the motor off. Was on track to catch a quick limit and be back in time to watch race. Put these 13 in the boat real quick. Between 8-9. Once the sun got behind clouds the wind became unreal. Took me longer to drive down than I actually got to fish. I may have to use a" sick day" this week at work.!!

More rain is a good thing right?
Doesn't all the lakes and water table still need alot of rain?

I only fish The Coon cause that's where I keep my toon.

No. All of the lakes in our area Ga, Al, and North Fl are at full pool and have been most of the winter. And I would imagine the water table is as close to normal or above as it has been in quite a while. I hope the rain continues throughout the summer(think we are suppose to transition into an El Nino by then) but only in moderation! The 2-4 inches most people have seen this past rain will most likely have a big impact on the fishing this week. We will have to wait and see.

    Mullet,

Is the favorite hole located between the Iron Curtain and the dam?

Darn Sorrydog, you can really narrow it down and tell everyone a good hole, don't let me tell you my holes. I don't think you could be more specif.

Well, there is times when trying to find a good fishing hole is like trying to find a Triple 777 in the Indian Ocean!
