Just wondering if ya'll think you could use a gnat and roll it up in or next to the grass during the spawn ? What do ya'll think ?

I have caught them on gnats spider rigging while baiting up before they had minners on them. It may work
No reason it won't work. I'd get Donnie to tie some in Kiptail and get ScottV to tie some in Rabbit.

Well you know it would have to be lite to throw it or roll it . I think it would be fun and keep you from spooking some fish . And just down right fun .
CATCH THEM ALL.
Don't see why it wouldn't work. I wore em out on Enid a few years ago flipping a small jig way back in a grass jungle. No one else was catching anything but I saw fish working back in the flooded grass. They were hammering it almost every cast.
Have caught them on a wet fly (black gnat, made by 4-rivers ) they are out of business . Use to be in Greenwood or Greenville,Ms.
