Well all I can say is ! The Bigeyecrappieman has yet to catch a Crappie on Jordan Lake This year! 10 teams showed up to fish yesterday and 5 of those teams did not weigh a fish in. The Lake was 6ft high somewhat windy. We marked plenty of fish but could not get them to bite. Do not know if the the strong pulling of the water contributed to the lock jaw. However some one always finds some fish that will bite and have the right technique to catch them. Yesterday it was the 1st place Team of Tom Sprouse and Randy Wilson who brought a awesome sack of 7 fish weighing 10.0 lbs and had the Big Fish of 1.75 lbs that was a awesome catch on a day when some very good teams could not catch a Crappie. So Congratulations to those Guy's. Great Job Tom and Randy. also with a good catch was the 2nd Place Team of Danny Chainsaw McDaniel and Jeremy Schmidt with 5 Fish weighing 5.50 lbs and a Big Fish of 1.475 lbs. the 3rd Place team of Phil Cockman , James Williamson and Jeannie Murchison had 2 fish that weighed 2.40 lbs they also had a Big Fish of 1.310 lbs. and Jeannie caught that fish. will try to post photos later. but it was beautiful day The Lord gave us and we just had to be glad in it fish or no fish! Thank you Lord for allowing is spend time together again out in your Creation fellowshipping on the Water and beside the water, See ya next week at Harris lake Holleman Landing! God Bless! - The Bigeyecrappieman!

Congrat's to Tom and Randy on a job well done. I knew it was going to be a tough day when I saw Jeremy at the minnow store and he told me he was fishing with Chainsaw. Those two guys can put some good fish in the boat. Like the other guys, we marked lot's of fish, and caught a number of small ones, but the only keeper flopped away at the surface before I could get a net. Frustrating when you mark lots of fish, but cannot get a good bite. Enjoyed the day fishing with friends and chatting with the guys at the weigh-in.

I had a good time yesterday. I fished and caught a few in areas I had never fished. The catching was a lot better today. I'm ready to try again next week at Harris. I've got a lot to learn at that lake.

Hate I missed it. Ice storm had me working overtime. Sprouse is hard to beat and a great fisherman.
