I've sold my Motor Guide trolling motor and I'm getting a Minnkota Terrova this week. My old tm has a 45" shaft so do I need to go to the 60'' shaft for the terrova or stay with the 45" shaft. I have a 19' Stratos and the 45" shaft on my old TM pulls my boat fine. What do ya'll think? Please keep your head out of the gutter on this thread!![]()

You can get one with a 54" also. Depends on what lb thrust you're looking at. You can get the 80 lb with a 54" but if you're going with the 112, I think it only comes in the 60"

Yes, I fish like a girl. If you tried a little harder, you could too!!
Go with the 60" if nothing more for resale

If it will hold cornmeal it's big enough for me !!!!!!!!!
if the 45 was lng enough before its long enough now.. Just think your going to have another 15 inches of shaft in the boat
I checked my old TM & it was 42'' so the 45'' should work fine. I also talked to a buddy of mine & he has the same set up as I do & he has a 45'' on his stratos. Thanks for the help!
