    I read an article on these insects and it said Crappie feed on these heavily after ice out so I tied a few to see if they will work in my waters....

    i catch a lot of crappies on flies.i have a club i belong to,no minnows allowed.i fly fish for gills a lot and was surprised at how many crappies i started catching.Name: DSCI0015.jpg Views: 249 Size: 28.0 KB

    Real nice work Len. The body looks to be root beer colored mono type material? I'm going to Grenada soon and taking the 7wt and the Crappie Candy I tied recently. Wish me luck.
