Fished yesterday and wind was strong , but howling today. The lot was full of trucks and boat trailers this morning but I opted out. It was tough yesterday to catch a limit and no slabs for me either. Maybe we will get a fishing report now since we all know it's windy! I know there are folks on here out there cause I saw Xring's truck and boat trailer . There will be better days.

Caught 21 this morning with a couple 1 1/2 pounders. Had to throw out 2 big drift socks when trolling with the wind.

I only caught one today. It's hard to fight the wind and fish when you're the only one in the boat. I might have to add some drift socks to my storage. I like to drift troll my jigs but the wind had me going way too fast to be effective. My poor trolling motor didn't realize the work out it was going to get today.

Tip , I use a 24 volt Maxxium 70 foot control on a 16' x 48'' boat. It steer into the wind and let the wind push me backwards or hold on cover. You did not say what trolling motor or how big your boat is. With the veriable speed control I usually can find correct speed to hold or steer as I let it slowly push me back.
