    Default Spring Bayou 3-11-14

Had some business in Marksville, so I took the boat with me. I'm a post-spawn fisherman there, so I was somewhat lost. All I was told was-trees. Fished for about 3 hours before my first bite. Caught the one below, then had to leave. Decided to try one more stretch of trees before leaving, and found the black, white perch. They were only on about 5 trees. If I strayed from those, I got no bites at all.

After throwing back my first 5 because I thought I was leaving, I ended up with a dozen. Most on blue/char. curl tail under cork, but some on Cajun Cricket on roadrunner. If I missed one on the cork rig, which happened more than normal, I could follow with the roadrunner and get bit. Only two had eggs.
