    Default Sledd Creek KY Lake?

Anybody ever fished there? Got any pointers on the quality of fishing or how good it is for vertical jigging or dock shooting? I haven't bought a topo map of it yet, just looking for a spot to keep away from the crowds and not have to drive all the way into lbl. Thanks in advance for any help!

Terrible place. No fish. It's full of mean diamond-backed copper-moccasins and killer bees. Go to Jonathan Creek.

Sledd is basically a big bowl. If you are looking to fish defined creek channels and drops you will need to look somewhere else. That being said Sledd does offer some great fishing that many people can tell you about. You will find just about any bay on KY or Barkley lake offers great fishing with the proper time and effort put in to learn the bay. As far as the dock shooting goes you will definitely find more opportunities on the East side of Barkley lake or the West side of KY Lake.

The issue of snakes, poisonous spiders, killer bees, etc... You will find they inhabit both lakes by the hundreds of thousands!!!! Ha

Sledd creek is not a very good place to avoid crowds , it can get reel busy in there .
LBL or Barkley would be calmer .
