    Default Hey Folks!! From Kansas stationed in VA right now!


    Afternoon Everybody! My home of residence is in Kansas and basically where I do all my fishing at, but I am currently stationed in Norfolk, VA for the time being. Got big into fishing about 7 years ago and love it love it love it!!! I hope to learn a thing or two from everyone on here, meet some new fishing friends, maybe even tag along on an excursion with some one who might be willing to teach me a few things I might not know. Hope everyone is having a great day back home in KS, wife tells me it is cold :/ which I know isn't helping with the fishing, however, conditions aren't any better here in VA...cold and snowy .     I lived in KS for 12 years (Fort Riley) There is some great fishing to be had.

    I sure miss those big cats from Tuttle Creek and the Blue River.

    Never fished Tuttle Creek but keep hearing the fishing is excellent over there! I do a lot of fishing at Glen Elder and then Kanopolis (only because it is close to home...not the best fishing but better than nothing ya know.)

    huntnfishnguy2014 don't for one minuet hold the idea that being stationed in Virginia that you are out of crappie fishing action there. The Virginia board is one of the more active boards on here that has many very good fishers that frequently post. Start checking that board out and you'll find they are some very good helpful fisher folks that would keep you in the crappie fishing game. Good luck.
