It's in the mid-lake area across from Negreet Creek. I haven't fished it in years as I mostly stay on the LA side. I did hear of a good Bass fishing report from that area about a week or so ago when we had that full week of 70 degree temps. They were fishing flats with grass in 5 FOW throwing chart/wht spinnerbaits and texas-rigged watermelon seed worms. Hope this helps.

Mid lake Texas side. Thinking about staying at the lowescreek camp ground and trying to catch a crappie or 2. All I get is bass reports out of there.

Maybe we could get Skiptomylu to chime in. He might be able to give you some pointers. He lives and fishes on the Texas side. Although down on the South end of the lake.

Skip only fishes in six mile. I haven't fished in Lowes creek, but have heard of some good reports there on occasion. Let us know how you do.

Straight across from Cypress Bend. Like all parts of the lake, can be good. A nice looking area. Right now Hausen Bay is hot. It has the nicest campground on the lake, in my opinion. Fin and Feathers. I have no affiliation. It is further south of Lowes Creek and just north of six mile. By the way Randy, Skip does fish a couple other areas.

Fin and Feathers is nice. They overhauled the campground after getting a bunch of money from NASA. NASA used it as a base camp after the space shuttle Columbia disintegrated over the area.
